Kutitiva’s Board of Directors is made up of four women from diverse backgrounds and service offerings who together to build unique services that cater towards the vision of the Foundation

Darleen has a passion for working in underprivileged communities, particularly focusing on children. Over the last 30 years she has worked across cultural and socio-economic landscapes, led with her passion for individuals to discover their strengths and realize their potential. her Motto: “Learning can be fun!”

 She brings to the team her creativity, enthusiasm and delight in helping others, with experience in personal assessment coaching, individual and team training, mentoring roles, team building, teaching, and working with students (pre-school to Grade 12).

Her experience as a team leader, project manager, community development, counseling, non-profit development, fundraising, and the pioneering and establishment of 2 Non Profit Organizations, offer greater insight into a large cross-section of clients in both the private and government education sectors.



  • Completed BSc – Medicine at Macquarie University, Sydney.

  • Voluntary Life Skills teaching for 5 years, to primary school children in Midrand and Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa

  • Hands-on work in Kutitiva Projects in Soshanguve, GaRankuwa, and Winterveldt (Pretoria West) with students

  • Assistance with admin and projects

Being the youngest Director, Joanna brings to the table a different perspective as well as fresh ideas. She brings to the team her love for children and people development.

Joanna has done much voluntary work in underprivileged communities, many of which included interaction with children

Tshilidzi is passionate about helping less privileged people and has been very involved in projects in Venda and Gauteng with upliftment and training.

She brings to the team her experience of being well-traveled in different cultures and her love of motivating youth about personal development. She has a keen sense of finance and business. Her compassionate nature and commitment to child and women development is contageous and she is an asset to our team.

Modi has experience as a lecturer at the University of Pretoria. She was Head of Program IT at the Independent Institute of Education / ADVTech.

She has also worked as an Analyst Programer / Software Developer at FNB (First National Bank) and a Solutions Analyst at Absa Bank.

Modi was a Saturday School Volunteer in Sebokeng tutoring Math and Biology for Grade 11 – 12. She brings to the team her expertise in Industrial Psychology and Psychometry whilst assisting with IT challenges and offering lectures in pertinent subjects. Her sense of fun is contageous and she is an asset to the team.

Reneilwe has experience in customer services, sales, marketing (Chamber of Commerce) and Non Profit work. She has assisted in running projects with assessments and development of over 3500 students and teachers Grade R-11 in underprivileged communities and private schools.

Reneilwe brings to the team her bubbly nature, commitment and enthusiasm to help children understand themselves and succeed in life. She is an asset to our team.
